~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Aerostar Super 700 is the World's fastest piston twin
London to Sydney Air Race in March/April 2001. Even though
it bore a USA registration, the team actually was based in
Hong Kong (hence the dragon livery and name!) At times during
the race they were actually recording over 300 knots airspeed!
The Model
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This FS2000 & FS2002 only computer model performs similar to
the real aircraft and also has a custom cockpit panel which I
have designed (thanks to Harald Scheidl for the Yoke gauge, which
I have modified for the Aerostar Yoke). I designed the panel using
CFG Edit and the aircraft using Abacus FS Design Studio Pro and
Aircraft Animator. There are many animated parts, including a
steerable nose wheel, spoilers and it also has an illuminating
landing light beam. Also included is a very good Piper 350 engine
sound package (Author Unknown).

Installation:
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Just unzip the all files into your FS2K2/Aircraft folder and
the files will extract to the sub directories of Model, Panel,
Sound and Texture (provided you have that folder option ticked in
your zip program). You will then have to move the .gau gauge files
into your Flight Sim\Gauges folder. I have also included a flight
covering the London to Sydney Air Race course which you can put in
your Flight Sim\Flights folder. You can follow the race with the
AirRaceMap.jpg and Airrace Manifest.htm which also gives you the
departure and arrival dates as well as the Airport ID's.
Have fun!
